Digital Jumpstart (ELL/ELA) and Curriculum Unit Plan Samples

Valuing multicultural literature that provides various perspectives of a school, community, or class garden; Below and here is a "Digital Jump-start" I made for the book "Seedfolk" by Paul Fleischman. These digital jump-starts can act as an anticipatory set, help build word banks, and to prepare students with semiotics in language to help cue, scaffold, and prompt questioning for comprehending texts such as literature. Read my justification for them in the link at the bottom of this page. They also make great unit projects for learners.

I recommend using Video and Audio software that is securable on your campus, so you can regulate any public sharing of content formed by students. Included below in the links is a literature review on code-switching, a curriculum theory report, and a curriculum unit of mine. These offer samples of theory and practice to create media for language as a new literacy  infuse technology into pedagogy and lesson planning. I am discursively revising and adaptable so let's talk how we can collabo.
